Summary: Easy, real people shoes
Comment: I love these shoes for my little girl. We have had them in a size 4, 5 and now a 6. They seem comfortable to her and are really easy to put on - without tacky Velcro(R) straps. Plus, they are just like real adult shoes. People always say, "those shoes are so cute. They look just like Merrells." I say, that is becasue they are! They are always suprised to know Merrell makes little kids shoes.

Summary: a disappointment
Comment: I usually stick to stride rite for shoes for my kids. However, I bought these for my 5 year old since I had heard so much about the brand and found them on sale. They look great and he has no problem putting them on. The arch seems well built and the shoe well constructed but it simply does not seem to hold his foot well. He doesn't seem to run comfortably in them and has complained about them making his toes hurt. The size is correct and he has the corret extra room so I can only think that the shoe is defective. I'm buying him a pair of Stride Rite's from Amazon today.

Comment: Need to return them as they are too hard for my 2.5 year old to get on and not enough toe room when we did manage to get them on.
