Summary: Slippery when wet!
Comment: I bought these boots 2 winters ago (this is my 3rd winter with them) and am finding them to be slicker/slipperier than ever!

I bought these boots because of their waterproof feature (and nice urban look). I live in Seattle where not only is it wet out alot, we have some steep hills. I've come down on my fanny once, and now manage to catch myself in the slid and avoid falling. NO FUN! Anyone else with this problem or with suggestions for solution?

Summary: Beautiful, practical, comfortable!
Comment: I purchased these boots last year and wore them practically every day - I just took them out of their box for the coming fall/winter season, and they look as great as the day I purchased them. I live in the Mid-Atlantic region, so I deal with lots of rain, slush, ice, some snow. These boots held up and then some. They're completely waterproof and the non-skid soles, while not perfect, work pretty well. They're super cute - I wear them with tights and skirts/dresses, and I also tuck my skinny jeans into them.

The best thing about these boots, however, is the comfort level. They're so comfortable, and I can wear them all day - I did a walking tour of Boston in these boots and I was fine. I've had multiple surgeries on both feet and have an extremely hard time finding shoes, and these boots have just been such a great find for me. I've gotten so many compliments on them, and I think they're so cute and versatile.

The ONLY negative I can think of is that while they're insulated, they're not the warmest boot. I wear them with cashmere or hiking socks and it's okay, but they're not as warm as my Ugg boots. Sometimes this is a plus, as I can wear them during fall/spring as well as winter and not get too warm, but there have been times where I've been standing in snow and wishing my feet were a bit warmer.

It's a fantastic boot, and I'm actually going to buy them in the espresso suede for this winter! I think they'd be a great addition to any wardrobe.

Summary: Perfect for puddle jumping
Comment: These boots are the best boots I have ever owned--they look super sharp with skirts and dresses--they are amazingly warm, and they are truly waterproof-I walked through a huge puddle yesterday and my feet didn't get wet at all. On top of all that they are extremely comfortable. The perfect winter shoe--what more could you want? While they stick out a teensy bit from underneath jeans it isn't really noticeable and they still look good. They even made my jeans look better on me. For anyone looking for a good nice looking multi-purpose boot I highly recommend these!!

Summary: So cute, urban
Comment: These boots are SO cute and just what I was looking for. Cool, high, comfy (they are Merrells, after all) and have an element of motorcycle boot to them (I feel like Lara Croft, Tomb Raider in them). They look adorable over jeans or pants like Hard Tails and they would look cute with skirts too. They have a level of sophistication to them, too, but not as much as your skinny heel boots would. But if urban cool is your look then you should be happy.
