Summary: Good, but they smell
Comment: I've purchased these sneakers on sale (50% off) on Amazon last year for $45. I thought I got a great deal until I opened the box. I thought it was just a new shoe smell, but it's lasted till now with no going away in sight. I'm not sure whether it's the material they're made of, but these shoes smell...bad. I've tried febreeze an lysol and just airing them out outside. Nothing helped. I bought them to wear casually and haven't worn them that much since they're offensive. Other than the smell, they look great (I have the silver and blue), fit good, and are light weight.

Comment: As I was looking for a cross trainer, I felt the Trigon 5 was more suitable for my needs. The Trig 5 has more of an outer toe cover that I felt would be more durable. The Saucony 4 & 5 have roomy toe boxes. Both very comfotable. As I recently purchased Sacony's for the first time, I will have to wear them for a time before making a review based on experience. Thus far, I am very pleased.

Summary: Solid Running Shoe
Comment: This is a solid running shoe for big runners. It can take pounding with no problem, and I will say it will last you for a long time. My complain is that this shoe is on the 'motion control' side, so it feel a little too rigid for me. But it's possible that I haven't broken in the shoe yet. I can't comment on the normal width of the shoe because I ordered W width, and it turned out not very comfortable to me. The length of the shoe feels all right.

Comment: This is an excellent shoe for the medium to high mileage runner with higher arches and a need for just a touch of motion control. It's a good price and a durable shoe that has served this 50's 40 mile a weeker well.

Summary: Saucony great walking shoes
Comment: I have been increasing my low-impact exercise schedule, and these shoes, after using them for one month, are good to go. They are light-weight, comfortable, and form fitting. The shoes are laced from top of eyelets and back underneath which is a little odd for me. I purchased a size 7.5 which in 80% cases is correct size. Unfortunately, I had to return shoes back to Amazon and order size 8. I had never returned anything back to Amazon before, and I was very surprised how easy the process was.
These are my first Saucony running shoes, and I cannot vouch for their quality. Hopefully in a couple years, I will be happy enough to purchase another pair (thus the reason for 4 stars).
