Comment: Asics are better than all other running shoes. Goes perfect to me. I`m 5,3 tall and 220 weight. I have no pain at all at my knees, toes, legs.

Summary: Ran my first marathon with these
Comment: I just started running about 6 weeks ago for my first marathon. I had different brands of shoes for training, and on the long runs (over 10 miles) i had a few problems, including blisters, and sore heals. I ordered these shoes and only had one week to train with them. I ran 10 miles and my feet felt fine so i chose these shoes to run my first marathon in. It might have been the hardest thing i can remember doing, I definitely needed more training, but 1 thing was for sure - these shoes held up wonderfully and saved my feet.

Summary: kel gayano prior tp version 14
Comment: Like others I have found the family of Kel Gayano running shoes superb - offfering comfort, stabilty and control in a way that other shoes have not. I've had them from version X to version XIII for the last 3 years. Previously I was having knee problems (what runner hasn't) and metatarsal problems , controlled somewhat by orthotics. Until Kel Gayano howvever i had to limit my runs to less than an horu, infrequently. Now I easily pack in 2 hour runs 4 times a week or more.
I tried the new X!V models on in a retail store and took an immediate dislike to them - something about the heel unit seemed to create pressure points for me around my ankle. Possibly i might adjust, but it was so unlike the instant comfort feeling I am used to with previous Ascis versions I decided not to risk $130_. I had read some other reviewers comments on the new IV beforehand and found a similar attitude with some who like me had found Asics kel gayano a solution to serious running problems (others rave about the new version as well, but it is the mixture that makes me realize there is a lottery here, one i'd rather not play). So i'm sticking with the earleir versions, stocking up, until maybe next year wen Asics brings out a new model correcting the issues in the heel of XIV

Comment: Best running shoe out there. No matter what type of runner you are. Buy online and $ave. These shoes are worth it, they will out last midrange shoes. No other shoe has the fit and support.

Comment: Reading the amazon reviews on this shoe is more convincing than an infomercial. It's 14 ratings, all 5 stars at the time of writing. I usually go for the highest rated stuff on amazon. Well, I wasn't blown away, but I'm not unsatisfied. The shoe is light weight and very comfortable and there's nothing really to complain about. It could use a little water proofing because a single drop of water can easily permeate the top of the shoe and immediately be felt, but I guess that would be a byproduct of a good ventilation design. However, these things are designed for running and nothings worse than instantaneous wet socks while jogging through the neighborhood and accidentally grazing small puddles. The back heel on the inside of the shoe is slightly elevated, which I felt awkward at first because I've never had a shoe like this. It felt pretty comfortable while running though.
